Today we’d like to introduce you to Tran Le.
Tran, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was a career-oriented, wanting to work hard and achieving a lot. My attitude has changed when I had my first son. I am obsessed with capturing everything as if one day these joy moments will escape my mind. Right now, I am holding a full-time job and attending part-time graduate school. I love clothes, shopping and dressing up. Having four boys, it gets hard. Sometimes, I have only 5-15 minutes to myself and out the door, I go.
Another part of me is that I am fugal. I came from a family with less, so it is rooted in me that I bargain, conserve and waste-free. I want to achieve looking expensive, but spending a quarter as much. If you are browsing my website, you will notice that I love the “Sale on Sale”. Our family also loves traveling. My husband and I wanted to inspire our boys about other cultures. We hope to cultivate kindness, understand differences and encourage compassion for others. My boys are still young, but I hope our future travels will involve an act of kindness through community service. That is how “Lovekenzie.com” has shaped up thus far.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I just started out last April, a year ago so I am still inexperienced in this journey (if you have suggestions, please let me know 😉). However, I am sharing what I love💗 to do so I guess I have the patience in building my network and community. It was hard at the beginning when this project competed with other priorities. It is important to build support and the courage to take a risk. If you are thinking about doing what you love, I just wanted to leave you with a Chinese saying: “Be not afraid of going slowly, be afraid only of standing still.” I hope you have the courage to get started and the patience in your progress.
what should we know about Lovekenzie.com? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Everyone is unique. I hope to inspire others to enjoy moments and love little things. Experience with clothing, getting a bargain or traveling with my family makes me happy and I want to share my personal journey with you.
Who do you look up to? How have they inspired you?
I inspire through these websites: “Le Catch”, “WhoWhatWear” and “Refinery’s”.
