Today we’d like to introduce you to Francesca Tropeano.
Francesca, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My story has changed very little so far in my life. I started collecting natural crystals and making beaded jewelry around the age of 9. The energy and powers of crystals became very apparent, and influential, to me. Since then, I have never stopped making my Powerbeads – stretchy, beaded bracelets comprised of very specific crystals. I put so much intention, and magic, into each one that I make. As simple as they are, beaded bracelets allow me to make unique combinations of energy to heal unique problems- my true passion!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a smooth road, but a long road! Being an energy worker, my jewelry is just a small portion of my career. I also read tarot, practice Reiki, write horoscopes, teach classes and give private spiritual counseling. In order to get to this point, I’ve had over 10 years of education, personal research and studying all while making my bracelets in between. The longer I am an energy worker, the more I learn to improve my bracelets. It has been time-consuming though! Best advice I can give, be patient. Get certifications, take your time to perfect your skills and products in order to be your most confident, and professional. This fast-paced world is starting to encourage “just winging it.” I don’t, and it hasn’t failed me yet!
what should we know about Sister Fran Designs? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am most proud of my experience. Being a crystal preaching, jewelry slinging, gypsy is the only career I’ve ever considered since I was a child. This has given me 20+ years of figuring out what fake crystals look like, which spell books are bad and what stores to visit in Salem. Everyone and their mom is a witch today and what I do is more trendy than ever. I love this, and I REALLY love answering questions. Being ahead of the curve only allows me to help others dodge those fake crystals and bad books! My retail business extends beyond my Powerbeads, but those are certainly the MVP.

My favorite inspirational books are: Be Here Now, Remember Your Essence and Power of the Witch. I also love readings old astrology, Buddhist and folklore books! Crystals though, for really everything… crystals have changed and healed my life completely.
