Today we’d like to introduce you to Jose Ariel Diaz.
Jose Ariel, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I am a runway/pageant coach, fashion coordinator and at times I like to dive into photography. Styling is something I enjoy doing as well. Let’s just say I love to work in anything and everything that requires boosting people’s confidence! I was told to sum it all up, I’m a lifestyle blogger I guess. I have a campaign that raises awareness for Autism. Feel free to check out the hashtag #JoseArielDiaz4Autism. The goal is to make Autism awareness fun & just expressing yourself through colors! Just when you thought I do too much, lol. I also love doing voiceovers on my Instagram. It’s my own little way to get in touch with my “actor” side.
I also collaborate with numerous makeup artists to showcase their skills & just have fun with my face!! They always ask me “so what look are we doing” I’m like “bitch whatever you want! Express yourself honey, just make me POPPIN” lol. I have been blessed with traveling to many cities, states & countries just for being my crazy self and being as involved as I am! What are my future goals? You want me to be 100% honest? I just want to be happy & keep inspiring everyone to be themselves & they will go far. Those who matter will appreciate them for them. Those who don’t, well then, let them gooo! I do want to continue traveling! My goal is to meet half the people in the world …. is that even realistic? In my head it is lol!
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
Like I stated in my last post if you leave with me feeling more confident & maybe a lightbulb went off in your about new ideas & new goals. I’m happy! Be fierce, be confident, f%*k what people have to say or think about you for being you! At times we try to change who we are to satisfy others & yet we still get judged. So why not be judged for you & you stand your ground and just KEEP GOING!
How do you think about success, as an artist, and what do quality do you feel is most helpful?
To be successful as an artist is never holding back. Art is something that we CHOSE to do. It wasn’t forced upon us so there is no right or wrong way to express it. A lot of people in today’s era care too much about likes and comments. I catch myself feeling like that at times. Then I think to myself. “Maybe they just didn’t get it” but as long as I did that’s what matters. With art it can get really tricky. But hey like as said before. As long as YOU are happy with the outcome, who gives a sh** 🙂 back in April of this year I was awarded the “Outstanding Latino” award by the organization L.A.S.A at the university of Rhode Island. That was honestly an amazing feeling & just pushed me even more! The simple fact that they love what I stand for while remaining true to who I am is such a beautiful thing. So many Latinos doing amazing things in our community but they picked me. Sometimes I forget all that I do because I just love it all so much. But it’s always good to be reminded here and there!! Just express yourself. Whatever mood you are in ART IS MEANT FOR THAT!

My Facebook I made it a bit more private. I’m a little more reserved on their lol. But my Instagram @JoseArielDiaz is where I’m most active and you can see all of me! My Snapchat I like to go on rants and express how I feel (don’t get offended with anything I say lol). Snapchat is @JoseArielDiaz as well. Twitter…… people still use that? Lol

Jose is one of a kind! Super talented and a heart of gold!! What a great role model for young people trying to find their way. Amazing the people who’s confidence he has raised and inspiration he has spread! Jose is a beautiful, amazing person inside out. He cheers everyone up is not afraid to tell you the honest things to help you ! He might not even know you and if he sees your hair is messed up he would fix you. He’s a extremely excellent friend, stylist, photographer, pageant coach, he’s funny, intelligent, HUMBLE and best part is that he is a role model. I have witnessed he’s good deeds he’s generosity and compassion. He’s the best friend to talk to ask for a honest opinion, hang around with, he would offer his shoulder to cry on. Jose is such an incredible person, he has a heart of gold! If you’ve ever had the chance to have a photography session with him, you know exactly what I mean! He makes you feel soooooo confident and so pretty, you always leave his sessions with a huge smile on your face! He’s such a great artist, he deserves all the success he’s gotten and much more!
