Art & Life with Jennifer Amadeo-Holl

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Amadeo-Holl.

Jennifer, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I was lucky to grow up on Cape Cod. I’ve got pine needles and salt embedded in my bones.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I primarily make paintings and drawings. Since I utilize abstraction, I hope people take away a feeling that the image they’ve seen has a convincing interior logic. I think it’s remarkable that the mind has the flexibility to look at and accept such a huge variety of input as it does.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
My work will be on view July 20-August 8, at the wonderful Schoolhouse Gallery in Provincetown. http://www.galleryschoolhouse.com/. I post to Instagram, at @jahamadeoholl. My website is jenniferamadeoholl.com

I donate to various local non-profits holding fund-raising art auctions, such as Shelter Inc, Boston Harbor Now, etc.  Until June 2 you’ll find two drawings available at the On-line Auction to benefit the Boston Center for the Arts, a great local institution where Boston visual and performing artists can create, perform and exhibit.
