Art & Life with Anthony DiDomenico

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony DiDomenico.

Anthony, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
Since I was a kid I wanted to make people laugh. I remember in camp when I was 7 or 8 we had a talent show, I told the counselor I wanted to tell jokes, he made me do the twist with the other fat kids to the Fat Boy’s cover of the Twist, got a bigger laugh then I ever would have. As I got older I started listening to Howard Stern and following the comics from the show. I did some radio in my 20’s but finally at 30 I tried stand up for the first time and was hooked.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
First and foremost I am a stand-up comedian, it’s what I love, would be happy just doing that and nothing else. My comedy is very auto biographical, I take things in my life and I share them with my audiences. I’ve also been doing podcasting for the last 6 years. This past year I started a podcast called “The WW Bro Podcast”, I share my weight loss journey with as many as I can, try to help people who thought it was as hopeless as I thought it was. So far down 112 lbs. and going.

Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
Just focus on what you are doing, don’t worry about anyone else and what they are getting. Just become the better at what you do.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
People can always go to my website for my comedy dates at www.anthonydlive.com, check out my social media; Twitter, Instagram @ComicAnthonyD, and listen to my podcast at wwbropodcast.podbean.com.
