Meet Stacey Fiore of Fiore & Associates, Global Recruitment and Staffing Solutions in Milford

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacey Fiore.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I worked in the travel industry for 15 years. I started as a corporate agent for a large travel management company, and then, the recruiting firm that placed me offered me a position with their company. After I joined the team, the firm added a travel recruiting placement division.

It was brilliant because I had many contacts within the travel industry, as well as a comprehensive understanding of staffing for corporate travel management companies. I was able to use my knowledge and experience to recruit for these companies and the firm became very successful.

Unfortunately, the firm had financial difficulties and was forced to close the travel division in 2002. As I searched for a new position, my clients continued to contact me for staffing solutions. My strong relationships with my clients led me to continue assisting them with their needs, and so I started Fiore & Associates. Two decades later, I am still working with the same clients. All of our business has been based on referrals and we have continued to grow.

Has it been a smooth road?
As is the case with most companies, we have experienced some challenges along the way. The recession in 2008 was difficult with nationwide layoffs, but as a smaller company with a strong reputation in the travel industry, Fiore & Associates was able to make it through. When the jobs came back, we were there to place our candidates in the positions. Since then, there have been some cases in which we had more positions available than candidates, and vice versa. However, our growing referral business has helped to minimize these instances.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Fiore & Associates, Global Recruitment and Staffing Solutions story. Tell us more about the business.
Fiore & Associates is a full service global recruitment and staffing solutions firm dedicated to the travel industry. We conduct thorough candidate screenings to offer a full range of qualified contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire recruits for travel management companies. Over the last two decades, we have developed and maintained strong relationships with highly skilled recruits to accommodate corporate and leisure travel staffing needs, from travel consultants to top C-level executives.

We are very proud of our relationship management at Fiore & Associates. We have the same clients today that we started with 20 years ago, and we are continuing to build new relationships. We ask the right questions to fully understand what each client needs. We also take the time to get to know our candidates’ skills, experiences, and goals. We work diligently to ensure a perfect fit for each side and our work is highly rewarding. Employers are happy with the choices they make through our efforts, and candidates are happy to receive life-changing opportunities.

We are also proud of the caliber of our work. The travel industry is constantly evolving, and so is Fiore & Associates. We stay up-to-date on technological advancements so we can properly conduct candidate screenings, provide accurate information for a seamless interview process, and implement valuable coaching techniques. We do what it takes to make each placement a success for every party.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The staffing and recruiting industry is currently seeing an increase in the number of temporary hires each year. I expect that number to continue rising as companies realize the many benefits of having temporary workers. Staffing and recruiting agencies have many strong candidates available immediately for temporary assignments, and so I believe the industry will grow rapidly to meet these demands for flexibility.

In addition, I see the travel industry continuing to expand as technological advancements make it easier to travel and conduct business around the world. I expect there will be an increased need for travel agents, and so travel management companies will seek more assistance from staffing and recruiting agencies.
