Kelly, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Envy Boston was started in 2010 completely out of convenience. I spray tanned as my method of tanning and Every time it was completely awkward – going into a salon and stripping down naked in front of a person you have never met before to have them tan you’re every inch never seemed quite comfortable. And if it was raining that day…ugh you ended up a spotted mess before you even got in your car. I thought how much more comfortable and convenient it would be to have it done in my own home. If I’m getting naked…at least it’s at home! Just like that Envy Boston was born.
Has it been a smooth road?
There weren’t many “mobile” companies when I started out. A lot of people heard the idea and said “who wants to have a spray tan party at their house?” Sometimes you just need to ignore the conventional opinions and do things your own way.
It was a lot of work to train and perfect the art of achieving a natural looking spray tan. Once we started out, the company’s work spoke for its self and we were slammed busy just by word of mouth. We were lucky enough to be reviewed and featured in Allure magazine about 6 months after we opened which was such a privilege.

Envy Boston is a mobile spray tan company that brings the luxury of a natural looking spray tan right to your location. We do single appointments and parties in your home. We serve clients for their weddings, proms, body building competitions, special events and just for fun!
We have been featured in Allure Magazine twice as “Best Spray Tan in Boston” and “Best in Beauty”. We were featured on Chronicle, in the Boston Herald as well as in The Know Magazine. What sets us apart is that we exceed our clients’ expectations. We go the extra mile to make our client’s look and feel beautiful.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I love best about our city is the pride. There is a genuine bond between the people of Boston that you just don’t feel in other cities.
