Meet Joseph Pari and Eric Auger of TEN31

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Pari and Eric Auger.

TEN31 grew from a simple, powerful idea that art can be “brought to life” and provide emotionally inspiring entertainment. The human form is TEN31’s canvas. In 2000, founders Eric Auger and Joe Pari began performing as Living Gargoyles at art events and festivals. From their very first performance to today, the designing and creation of characters and costumes never stopped. The collection currently includes hundreds of one-of-a-kind living art pieces and period costumes.

TEN31 has been honored to perform for the White House, Harvard University, the American Heart Association, Nike Corporation and at hundreds of prestigious institutions and social and corporate events throughout the world. Like the pieces and installations, TEN31 creates, the company continues to grow and transform itself, driven by that simple and powerful idea born nearly two decades ago. We are TEN31. We make pretend.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s always a constant challenge to stay current and navigate the ups and downs of the economy and trends within special event planning. The great recession was a challenge for all of us. We try to continual experiment while trying to limit risk and exposure.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
