Meet Gina Clapprood of Gina Clapprood | Your Life… Styled

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Clapprood.

Gina, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
It’s ironic because as a little girl, I was always conflicted. I possessed wisdom beyond my years but didn’t understand how I could have the knowledge that I did. It was explained to me by various members of my family that I had a ‘gift’. Intuition.

Intuition and just somehow knowing things run in my bloodline. At first, I tried to hide what I felt and knew out of fear of being judged as different. However, over time as I great older, I felt compelled and a calling to embrace it and use it to help others. At the age of fifteen, I started meeting with family members and friends to offer them some intuitive insight and advice on the challenges they were facing and questions they had about how best to proceed forward. Little by little my clientele base grew and I started my own business at the age of eighteen.

I’ve come a long way since then. I thought hard about my work advising others. Recently, I decided to up my game and incorporate more into my practice to encompass a more seasoned and confident me. I have years and thousands of hours of client service behind me. Experience and time is an extraordinary teacher and I was ready to expand my wisdom. I have leveled up my own personal growth and know without a doubt that I am living my purpose and concretely help people find and live theirs. I was ready to live my truth and pass that truth onto others.

I have obtained two Life Coaching certifications as well as a certification in Holistic Nutrition. I felt that having something more tangible and concrete than my intuition and insight alone would offer my clients the security that they could trust my advice in all matters of the heart, relationships, health and more. As a lifestyle coach and advisor now for more than 20 years, I provide support and insight to help my clients achieve their goals, make real changes and become their ultimate selves.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Definitely not! I come from a conservative Catholic- Italian-American family and to ‘come out’ and let them know that I was intuitive and using that intuition would have been frowned upon. So I often didn’t let on to my extended family that I had what I would often call, “my other life”. I was afraid of being judged and not accepted. Same held true whenever I would meet someone new. It wasn’t something I would disclose because I didn’t want to be thought of as a freak or different.

Honestly, it wasn’t until I hit my mid-30’s that I began to truly embrace myself and stopped worrying about what others thought. It has been a very freeing feeling and in turn, has allowed me to grow even more and offer my clients the insight and guidance on how to achieve that freedom in their own lives as well.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Gina Clapprood | Your Life…Styled – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Gina Clapprood | Your Life… Styled is my lifestyle coaching business.

I offer my clients insight and advice providing support and insight to help others achieve their goals, make real changes, and become their ultimate selves. I advise my clients, half of which I have never personally met, via online as well as in-person sessions. Those that I work with online, I often haven’t met and are from all over the world.

I am best known for my insight and intuition and way of connecting with others. I often hear that what I tell them is often what they have been feeling and it’s like I have looked into their soul and uncovered what they already knew and needed confirmation and validation or what they needed to know in order to move forward with more ease and confidence on their journey.

I am a new author, and recently published my first book! “You Can Be a SELFish B” was born out of the countless advice I would often give my clients. No matter who I seemed to meet with, no matter what their issue was in regards to relationships, career, self-acceptance, etc. there seemed to be a common thread. That thread was the fact that they didn’t put themselves first and were unhappy as a result of the lack of self-love. This book is about just that, putting yourself first without guilt and setting yourself free to become YOUR ULTIMATE SELF.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I am humbled by the response to my book and actually wrote a second book right after I wrote the first. “Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself: The SELFish B Unleashed will come out in late April. Let’s just say the first book was the preparation for the second one and I am excited for everyone to read it.

I am looking forward to where this writing journey is taking me. I am preparing to write one more book. I am looking forward to some speaking engagements as a result of the book topics and connecting with others that need to learn how to love themselves.

I plan to run more workshops in the future as well.
