Today we’d like to introduce you to Fabio, Jenny, and Gabriel Montresor.

Fabio, Jenny, and Gabriel, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Our company started in 2005. Fabio was working as a cook in a chain restaurant and had the crazy idea to buy an old van with the little money we had saved up. Moving services was a part time job until we began to see the demand and movement in the little services we provided. The part time became full time, and the old red van became a new box truck. The rest is history, we are now in our 12th year of operation and have many plans to continue our legacy of quality and meet the demands of Bostonians and New Englanders alike.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Our family came to the United States from Brazil in 1992. So naturally, like many newcomers, information has not always been accessible. It has been and continues to be a learning curve when handling logistics, managing an office and a business all on our own. Nevertheless, we manage to perform efficiently, safely, and thoroughly in every facet of our company. In addition, the physical labor is quite intense in the moving industry, yet we push through with a smile on our faces.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Fabio Moving Services – what should we know?
We provide moving services in the Greater Boston Area and beyond. Fabio Moving Services specializes in quality. Throughout these 12 years Fabio has saw out nearly every single move from start to finish. We have gained a reputation over these years as quality movers and we are very proud of the services we provide. The fact that the company is managed and operated from top to bottom by our family is a point in which we believe sets us apart from others. We think like a family and so we treat the possessions of others like treasure pieces.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Our Operations Manager Jenny has been the brains of the operation since its beginnings. She is self-taught and has handled all customer relations, marketing, sales, legal work, and insurance work; you name it. Without her direction and facilitation our company would not be half as far as it has come over these years. We would also like to thank the countless clients who have been return customers or referred us to their loved ones. We consistently have repeat customers and our success has been contingent on serving those who believe in us.
