So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
LoadSpring Solutions was founded in 1999 with the vision of providing easy and secure access for global project teams to the critical project software necessary to complete large scale projects like The Big Dig for example. This type of system is now called the cloud but in 1999 is was a newer concept especially for enterprise customers. In 2000 LoadSpring launched is portal platform and had its first customers. This platform is now called The LoadSpring Cloud platform and has changed the way global project teams access, manage, and support their team members.
Since 1999 we have grown to over 100 global employees and team members that together contribute to our continual year over year growth. Along with our legendary team members our grown is due to 3 reasons 1) Our LoadSpring Cloud platform has been expanded to continually add new features that make our customers more effective and efficient. 2) we provide unified support from the infrastructure layer all the way through to the software they use which enables significant savings, and 3) our 95% renewal rate.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Our commitment to our customers and employees has always been our focus and continues to be one of the key elements to our growth and continued success but that doesn’t mean the road has always been struggle free. As our company has grown and gone through the typical pathway from a small entrepreneurial company to a medium sized company there have been struggles that every company faces. As the company grows so do your procedures and processes need to change from communication pathways to systems and then of course finding and keeping the right people. We continually review and change and that is how we have overcome the challenges.
Our market has also changed and this is an advantage for us. Now that most companies understand what the cloud does and the benefits it offers it has made our sales process more streamlined as in the early years we had to help a customer understand what it was.
