Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle “Danni P.” Parker.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Danielle “Danni P.”. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
It started in ’97 where I had a love for various talk shows that led to me knowing one day I would have my very own talk show. I looked up to many women of color Journalists but Jacque Reid was my all-time favorite, where I researched where she attended college which led me to my dream school, Clark Atlanta University. While at CAU, I started my radio show, Cut From A Different Cloth, with my co-host PhoxyBrown. Years later, I decided to bring CFDC back as a YouTube and local Talk Show on BNN TV.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Honestly… It has been everything but smooth. Lol. But the struggles I have faced was losing people along the way but it truly showed me that not everybody you hoped to have been there wasn’t meant to be on the journey with you.
Please tell us about Cut From A DIfferent Cloth (CFDC).
The only thing that separates my show from others is, my personality, there are millions of ways to get information but the way I spill tea you can only get from me. I’m truly what I stand behind, cut from a different cloth, I tell it how it is not how it should be done.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I have no regrets but if anything, I would have probably started the YouTube show in college where I could have created with various brilliant minds from CAU.
