Meet Cheryl Ferrari of Face Facts Healing Spa in Boston, MA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cheryl Ferrari.

Cheryl, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Cheryl has been an established esthetician in the Boston area for thirty years. In her years of training with various healing arts, she was always drawn to the beauty and healing properties of crystals. At her healing Spa, she has incorporated specially designed crystals to create an optimal environment for energy healing. Cheryl is fast gaining a reputation for her work in the health and beauty arena, breast health. Cheryl’s skill with lymphatic drainage combined with other modalities expedites post-operative healing of skin.

Cheryl Ferrari is a lymphatic drainage expert who utilizes the Phyto 5 energetic range of products. She was one of the first trained in the Phytobiodermie protocols in the U.S. In recent years, Cheryl has been working closely with natural health consultants, and thermographers to provide a closed circle of healing for her clients and has become the therapist of choice for breast health.

Cheryl has a zest for life who brings her nurturing quality as a mother and healing practitioner to her practice. She is truly akin to all things natural and energetic.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
30 years ago, alternative work was less understood. People would come to me for beauty treatments, but to their surprise they were also treated for lymphatic drainage, detox, and general healing. One of the biggest challenges was educating people on the benefits of my treatments.

So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Face Facts Healing Spa story. Tell us more about the business.
It’s a great two hours from the rest of the world. People leave 10 years younger in body, mind, and spirit. My full body treatments include customized lymphatic drainage, facials, bath therapy, and infrared treatments, which are designed to remedy and prevent inflammatory conditions on the skin and body.

My work is a combination of the principles of Chinese medicine, charting natal biorhythms, energy medicine techniques, including reiki, chakra balancing, vibrational therapy, aromatherapy, and natural healing energies. I use an energetic Swiss skincare line, Phyto 5, which includes organic colored clay masks with a high concentration of essential oils.

Ongoing education in the field of wellness and beauty has been my most passionate pursuit. I consider myself very fortunate to work in a field that I love where I can continue to educate myself and others on matters of health and beauty. Prevention is 90% of health and beauty, so my treatments are detoxing and cleansing which makes for a more beautiful you – inside and out.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I’m lucky that detoxification has been put on the map. People are much more health conscious and aware of preventative measures now than they were when I started 30 years ago. I feel blessed that I have tools to measure so many aspects of healing.
