Jayne and Mark, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
We started Logo East about 25 years ago after closing our sporting goods store of 14 years we still wanted to keep a piece of the store with us and decided to launch Logo East. We create custom embroidered and silk screened designs and logos for teams, schools and businesses as well as personalized individual items.
When we first started we use to go school to school visiting colleges for orders because the internet wasn’t around! We love sharing our story today and covering athletics at schools such as UMass-Amherst, Brown, Dartmouth, Yale, Bowdoin & many more New England Colleges.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
In this business finding the right point of contact is not always easy. It has taken us years to build relationships. I would say keep the relationship strong throughout the years with communication. Never give up and set goals for yourself.

We are a family business and love being able to make one of a kind items. Watching our kids grow up and play collegiate & professional sports it always is extra special wearing their number and team across our sweatshirts, tees, & pretty much anything, you name it!
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
Never stop believing in yourself and the goals you set. Work hard everyday and never settle.
