Art & Life with Moss Lynch

Today we’d like to introduce you to Moss Lynch.

Moss, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I have been doing event photography and social media networking for over a decade, starting off by helping non-profit organizations and local businesses throughout South Boston, MA to grow their mission and to help them with fundraisers for local charity events. After years of photography and outreach activities, I felt that it was time to expand and create a professional business by sharing it with all those looking to capture exciting and captivating life adventures.

My strong passion for photography and networking, combined with years of experience, has led to the creation of my business, Capturing Inspiration.

I now create customized photo packages for various fields of photography for private events and business events. I also promote businesses, fundraising events, and help to market company missions and visions through social media platforms. I truly love what I do, and I look forward to expanding my business even more!

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
Photography is a beautiful art, and it is meant to be shared and loved by, and throughout, the world. Capturing Inspiration is an Event Photography and Social Media Networking business to help share and promote everyone’s events and businesses to all.

Since childhood, I have always been fascinated with landscapes and photography as well as bringing people together whether it be on the playground, at school, or at various summer camps that I attended. My mother always taught me the value in seeing the good in others and that inclusion is very important. Throughout my life I always had side jobs helping with event photography, helping to promote local businesses through social media, and being a greeter and welcoming guests to the events that I was at.

Capturing Inspiration is the business that I created to share captivating life moments through photography and to continue connecting the world through social media. The main goal, and takeaway, of this business is that I want everyone (my clients, event attendees, event planners, business owners) to enjoy those special life moments and to be able to cherish and share those memories that sometimes come once in a lifetime. People love hiring me not just for my photos, but because I bring a sense of community and cohesiveness to all of my events. I love giving back to my nonprofits, causes I care about, and always supporting local and family businesses.

I started my business using only a cell phone at various events and have now expanded my experience, and professional business, into the following genres of photography and marketing:

Wedding Photography
Event Photography
Performance Photography
Real Estate Photography
Family Event Photography
Newborn Photography
Presentation Photography
Promotional Photography
Venue Photography
Food Photography

–> Social Media Marketing:

Facebook Business Page Design and Development
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram Event Maintenance
Social Media Event Promotion
Online Marketing and Networking
Photo Editing and Uploading

I plan to expand my business even further and will continue to work hard to provide the highest quality results incorporated with the most cordial customer service possible.

In your view, what is the biggest issue artists have to deal with?
In today’s day, technology has made it very easy for people to digitally alter art; while editing software can help to enhance Artists’ work such as photography, videography, and graphic design, a lot of the joy in the artwork can often get lost.

I spend hours editing my photos to provide the highest quality work to my clients while websites provide filters to digitally alter photos in seconds, while that may be a fun thing to do for one’s personal website or blog, I feel that it takes away from the art of editing, and the joy of providing quality work that I have personally spent time making sure is perfect to the best of my ability. I prefer editing by hand, as it adds the artist’s personal touch to each photo provided.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
Capturing Inspiration is meant to be shared with the world and can be viewed at the following sites:

Those interested in supporting my local business can share my work with those looking for great photography, exceptional customer service, and professional social media marketing talent. I love promoting local business, nonprofit agencies, and those looking to share their passions, and businesses, within their communities and with the world!
