Check out Ryan Bondell, Letti, Amir Rivera-Liberman and Justin Fisher’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Bondell, Letti, Amir Rivera-Liberman and Justin Fisher.

Amir (lead singer/lead guitar) and Ryan (drums) started the band their freshman at Skidmore college in 2011. During that time the band played in New York and Boston often as well as toured the east coast. When the band members graduated in 2015 two of the original members left for other pursuits. Letti joined on the bass, and the band went through a brief period of having a couple different guitarists, each of whom eventually left due to their own life plans. Justin joined in late August and the adventure continues! They are here to serve their intergalactic love sauce to whoever would like to have some.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
Nobody puts it better than Shakespeare when he said the purpose of playing was to hold the mirror up to nature.

That’s what we try to do, we just try to be ourselves and let our art reflect that. For us right now as young adults, that means a whole lot of fun and youthful energy, and our shows definitely have that as the primary dynamic. We aim to have a debaucherous, Dionysian live set. But we are also serious, we can be sad, we’re growing up.

We’re multidimensional people and try to make quality art that shows who we are. And we are red-blooded, life-loving animals, who more than anything else want to bring ecstatic joy to as many people as possible.

What do you know now that you wished you had learned earlier?
Keep playing, keep practicing. Practice how you wanna play. Play it ’til you hate it.

Simplicity is key. Be honest and do everything with love. Believe in yourself and the power of whatever art you’re working in. It’s all been said before, it’s not complicated.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
We have all our recent work on Spotify, some of the older tunes are on Bandcamp. The best ways people can support us are: 1) come to the show, 2)listen to our music, 3) Buy a shirt. Oh and follow us on the gram and book, you know.
