Today we’d like to introduce you to Dan Nardo.
Dan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started my career in CFO/COO positions, running finance and operations teams at privately held companies. Most startups, small, and midsized businesses do not have dedicated departments for finance, HR, insurance, legal, accounting, operations, technology, and real estate, so those responsibilities usually fall on the shoulders of the CFO/COO. I’ve had tremendous exposure to each of these functions and saw the value this could bring to companies of all shapes and sizes.
After seeing a number of companies with potential struggle and fail because of a lack of strategy in these areas, I founded Nardo & Associates to serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to organizations and entrepreneurs looking to grow, sustain, and succeed.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like many fellow entrepreneurs, my biggest challenge is not having enough hours in the day. I overcome this challenge by spending 19-minutes each day to plan the next. I approach each day with a strategy, with allowance for unexpectancies of course, which helps me get the great value out of every minute. Some days, there still just aren’t enough hours.
