So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
The idea for opening a business started during the time I worked as an Assistant Manager at Dunkin Donuts when a couple of customers asked me if I would be interested in cleaning their homes for extra money. That’s how it all started, in a completely different market. As I started gaining more customers, the idea of turning this into a business popped into my head, and with the help of my husband we decided to launch our commercial cleaning service division. That’s when things really took off, and we haven’t stopped since, and now we are a full service Residential & Commercial cleaning service company.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Biggest challenge in growing our business was figuring out how to move from an idea to a real service. This took a great amount of planning and networking.
A new business takes time. Progress takes time. Dealing with and enjoying these ups and downs is a big part of running a business. We learned to deal with them and now we keep a clear mind ready to deal with the many other challenges we face every day!

What were you like growing up?
My parents have worked hard to provide a stable foundation for my life and future. They have taught me invaluable lessons about work, marriage, parenting, relationships, and life.
There are certain things your parents tell you while growing up that always stick with you for one reason or another. As the youngest of four siblings, I grew up in a pretty big family for this day and age. Like most parents I assume, my parents gave us some advice that always stuck with me. And few described topics below made an impression on me, and I will be sure to pass them along to my own kids:
– People need encouragement, love and support, because without it, it can be hard to get anything done. It helped me and gave me great faith in my abilities to achieve my goals towards my cleaning business.
– The values of trust, faith, and honesty are tested by the strength to keep promises. Promises also signify the ability of a person. If a person is making a promise, it means that he or she has the ability to perform the same and it will make someone that others trust and respect.
Most importantly, many of us were lucky enough to benefit from the little slices of knowledge our parents shared with us that helped shape the mother, wife and the business person that I am today.
