Today we’d like to introduce you to Teshara Latara Iraola-Taste.

Teshara, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m going to start by introducing myself. I’m Teshara Latara Iraola-Taste a 28 year old entrepreneur entering into the beauty business. I started off by doing Makeup tutorials on YouTube and came across a nail YouTube video. So I thought to myself “girl you better put your abilities to work and bring something wonderful to your community!” That was August of 2017. Ever since then I COULDN’T BE STOPPED!! I self-taught and watched all the knowledge that I have on nails and makeup now. My next step is getting my cosmetology license so I can finally open up my own salon just for me!!! Thank you!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being an entrepreneur is definitely no easy task. I had so many trial and error situations. I cried at times and thought about giving it all up, but it’s just not in me to start something and not see it through. As I went on in my journey I started to surprise myself and see things come together that were very beautiful right in front of my eyes! My hard work speaks for itself.

I’m proud of my business LuxuryDoll Nails & Makeup because it brings a smile to my clients and brightens up their day without burning a great big hole in their pockets. I specialize in nails and makeup and I’m known for my dope, colorful, and blingy nail and makeup creations at a great and reasonable prices! What sets me apart is for one how I treat my clients and what I am willing to give for a low price.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My close family, friends, significant other, clients and my social media fans are definitely supporting me and is a big part of the reason I keep going and learning new techniques everyday! My mom was the one that pushed me to YouTube and that was where it all began. My significant other chairs me on everyday and tells me how dope I am with it! All my friends and clients share my creations all over social media. That’s complete happiness for me!
