Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Nascimento.
Stephanie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
About six years ago, I developed an interest in Makeup Artistry. I started off as a self-taught makeup artist and after some years later, I had an opportunity to attend Sara’s Glam School in Rhode Island. I learned a lot of professional skills, techniques and the business aspect of being a successful makeup artist. In addition, I continued to refine my skills while taking Pro Makeup courses through MAC and Makeup Forever. Over time, I had the opportunity to work with many talented photographers and models on photo shoots. One of my greatest accomplishments was being featured in the August 2014 SOCO Magazine as a “Talented Local Makeup Artist”. My current focus is on my brand Makeup by Steph Glam, which specializes in Bridal Makeup. It has been an amazing experience to work with a variety of bridal parties in enhancing the existing beauty of each client and make them feel beautiful on their special day.
Has it been a smooth road?
The advice I would give is: Although there are many makeup artists in the industry, continue to develop your craft and become the best version of yourself.

I specialize in bridal makeup. I also do makeup for prom, maternity photo shoots, and all occasions.
Do you have a lesson or advice you’d like to share with young women just starting out?
Do not compare yourself to anyone else. We are all unique in our own way.
