Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Langford.
Hannah, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’m a graphic designer and YouTube content creator, known as Infinity on Hannah. I started YouTube in 2014 to share my passion for music. I discuss music in some sort of way every week and most of my content includes album or song reviews, concert stories, vinyl/CD collection showcases, countdowns, and playlists.
Since starting my channel, I’ve surpassed 3o,000 subscribers and I’ve been lucky enough to meet the love of my life, Jon, who is also a music YouTuber (ARTV). YouTube has also given me a community of friends and fans that I can share my love of music with.
When I’m not hosting my channel, I’m a graphic designer and video editor. I went to college for Graphics & Multimedia which has given me advanced skills in design, animation, printing, photography, and much more. I currently work for my boyfriend, editing a great majority of his YouTube videos, while I do freelance on the side.
I’m very grateful for everything in my life right now — I get to do what I love every day and that’s all I’ve ever wanted.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Putting yourself out there on the internet is not easy. As someone with anxiety and depression, I really struggled over the years to accept myself and be confident in who I am. Being on YouTube has a lot of baggage, like hate comments and people constantly judging you or having something to say about you, when they don’t even know you. It gets to me a lot, but I’m trying everyday to be strong and just keep doing me.
Don’t let anyone stop you from doing what you love and being yourself. In the end, no one’s opinion really matters but yours and your loved ones. But it’s important to follow your dreams and make yourself happy first before anyone else.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into Infinity On Hannah story. Tell us more about the business.
I do a lot of video editing and design work for my boyfriend’s YouTube channels (ARTV and Beyond ARTV) which is probably what I’m most proud of aside from my own YouTube channel. It’s my dream to make a career out of design and I’m currently getting experience as a freelancer. I’ve always had a strong passion for creative work like this from an early age, so getting to do it every day is a lot of fun.
I’m currently seeking graphic design or video editing jobs; let’s work together!
