Today we’d like to introduce you to Demetrius Big D Hullum.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
Was Born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 8th 1983 eventually moved to Greensboro, North Carolina at the age of 9 and bounced around from the north to the south and back north again.
I lived in Connecticut briefly where I had my son Zion after losing my mother I recently moved back to Boston January 1st 2018 to pursue my comedy career
Please tell us about your art.
I’m a stand-up comedian inspired by the greats I chose to do comedy after my mother died in 2016… I started in Connecticut telling jokes at open mics and quickly became to love making others laugh. At the age of 35 I realized it’s never too late to chase your dreams. You never know who else you might inspire
Do you have any advice for other artists? Any lessons you wished you learned earlier?
Being a comedian is more than being funny it’s a business treat it as such.
