Today we’d like to introduce you to Danny Wang.
Danny, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I began my real estate career with a new brokerage in the South End. Joining this brokerage was a blessing in disguise because I received undivided attention from the managers which led to the best training for a new agent. I joined Engel & Volkers Boston in the Spring of 2016 and I haven’t looked back since. After meeting with the owners of Engel & Volkers Boston, Valerie Post and Keith Shirley, I knew I had found a company that would teach me how to grow my business.
Has it been a smooth road?
The barrier to entry into the real estate industry is close to nothing, however, the barrier to succeed is costly. For a newer agent, some of the challenges include being stood up at showings and consistently pouring money into your business but seeing no return in sight.

I help busy and successful people take advantage of the unique opportunities in the Boston real estate market. My fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese has helped me expand my business onto a global scale, which in turn has helped my sellers earn the best price for their homes. If there’s one thing I know is that there’s more money in the rest of the world than there just is in Boston.
The Engel & Volkers marketing platform is what sets us apart from others. For example, we have access behind the Chinese internet firewall to penetrate wealthy buyers who otherwise would not have seen your home online. This is a tool that is only available to select companies in the world and we are one of them.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Logan Airport has increased their daily non-stop international flights now to 55. More and more people are coming to Boston for school and they are now staying for work. Boston offers some of the strongest financial institutions in the country, world renowned medical facilities and the best higher education in the world. The outlook for the Boston real estate market is very good in the years to come.
