Today we’d like to introduce you to Tim Palmioli.
Atwater Studios was founded in 1992 by Joseph Pellegrino who was a pioneer in digital image technology, being the first in the area to perfect the process and use of digital photography. Under his guidance, and by using the latest in computing and digital medium format camera technology, photographers Victor Janczar and Timothy Palmioli have been producing some of the highest quality work on the East Coast. This combined with an acute attention to detail is what allows Atwater Studios to meet and exceed the demands of our national and local clients.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Developing a business of any kind will see its fair share of challenges and successes. Building and maintaining client relationships has always been one of our strengths, and yet one of our biggest challenges. Bringing on new clients, especially in a market that is heavily saturated with “professional photographers”, is difficult to break through the noise. We’ve maintained long term relationships with globally recognized brands by delivering the highest quality creatives wrapped up in a relaxing, personalized experience.
Please tell us about Atwater Studios.
Atwater Studios is the premier destination for commercial photography and video production in New England. Our studio has been catering to the creative needs of businesses throughout the Northeast for over 20 years. We are a full service creative studio specializing in high resolution digital capture and retouching of product photography. We are best known for our work with LEGO Systems. Our 20+ year relationship with LEGO has produced packaging images for their core product lines, including Star Wars, Batman, Ninjago, and more. In addition to LEGO, we have also produced a wide range of creative content for brands like Friendly’s, New Balance, Top Flite Golf, and Hasbro.
Atwater operates at the edge of what’s possible with digital imaging technology. Our critical attention to detail and unique approach to the creative process sets us apart from the competition. As a full service creative studio we have expanded out capabilities to include video production and creative direction. From concept and design to capture and delivery, Atwater Studios will bring your ideas to life.
The main studio is built on a 3,000 sq. ft. open floor plan that features a client workspace and kitchen. There is an attached billiards room and secondary commercial kitchen, which is utilized during commercial food shoots. The property also features a conference room for on-site meetings, with direct access to our high speed T3 service and digital communications system. We are currently working on designing and building our new facility, which will offer up to 9,000 sq. ft. of studio space. The new studio is scheduled to be open early 2018.
