Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Grennell.
Jacqueline, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started Fairytale Dream Parties almost five years ago. I started off very small with only a few costumes and myself as an actress. With each party my business grew and I was able to add more costumes and actresses. Soon we were able to expand and offer parties in other states. In the beginning we only offered princess parties but after a few years we added Spa parties to our repertoire as well.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like any business we have faced our share of challenges. However, every challenge has been a learning experience and one that has made us a stronger company.
Please tell us about Fairytale Dream Parties.
We specialize in Princess and Spa parties. We are known for our custom made gowns and wigs and for offering the most realistic fairy tale experience. All of our actresses have child care and performance experience. I am most proud of our actresses, customer service and our commitment to excellence with each performance. It is truly our expertise working with children that sets us apart from the competition.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
As a child I loved reading and writing fairy tales. My friends and I would play dress up and act out scenes from our favorite stories. At a very early age I dreamed of owning my own business. I started a babysitting business as a teenager as I have always enjoyed working with children. It is a dream come true be a business owner and work with children. We are very lucky to be able to play “dress up” as adults and bring a touch of magic to our party performances.
