Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Baptista.
Ana, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have been doing photography for over 5 years as a hobby but I had never thought I was good enough to actually to do it as a business. On January of 2018,
I decided to take the risk and created an account only for my photos, I did it for fun and without expecting something big to come out of it.
To my surprise, I have done over 15 photoshoots since January, my main targets are bogglers and stores with a welcoming environment because I wanted to convene my passion for fashion and interior design into one and I think I have achieved it so far.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
So far, I feel that it hasn’t been as hard as I thought but the obstacle I face the most is that there are already so many great photographers already in Boston.
Behind The Click – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am a photographer, I like to do blogger photos, interior photos, engagement/ couples photos, and portraits. When I do a photoshoot I give them all the original photos because I feel that they deserve to have them all. I am proud of what I have accomplished in a short period of time.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is what makes me happy and make others happy. By taking pictures I see not only the faces or places, I also see the soal and atmosphere that they project. I feel successful by simply making others happy with my work.
Pricing:
- $60 for an up to three hours photoshoot for 1 person with all the original photos + 20 images edited
- $90 for an up to three hours photoshoot for 2 people + 20 images edited
