Today we’d like to introduce you to Wendy Rocca.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
More than 20 years ago, my goal was to be with our children as much as possible. School/sporting events were not to be missed. Real Estate became a good choice. We’ve moved around the country a bit so I was familiar with buying and selling homes. Most Realtors will tell you that you have to live and breath real estate to be successful, it’s a 24/7 job. If that’s the case, you’ll burn out very quickly.
Scheduling is the key! I learned how to make my schedule work to be a good wife, mom, and Realtor.
Over the years, I’ve continued with education, mastermind groups and more. Real estate is an ever-evolving industry. You MUST stay current or be left behind. Over the years I have been recognized as a Top Producer, Mentor, Motivator.
At the start of the War on Terror (2003), we started Operation American Soldier. Since then we have shipped tens of thousands of boxes to our deployed military. 2009 we were recognized by our local board, Greater Boston Realtors and the Mass Association of Realtors as Good Neighbors for our work with the troops.
2010 we were recognized as one of the five winners of the National Association Realtor’s Good Neighbor Award recipients. These awards caused Operation American Soldier to grow and serve our troops on a regular basis. “No one walks away from mail call empty handed” is our goal. Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
One challenge we faced was finding a company that shared our values of giving back. Keller Williams core values are completely in line with ours. We are grateful for their support!
