Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Robinson.
Jacqueline, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started my journey in 2001 as an entrepreneur by leasing a single room under Pepies’ hair salon. Over the past sixteen years, I have passionately grown, relocated and reinvented. I️ consider myself extremely fortunate to work with such an incredibly talented and dedicated staff. It will be exciting to see what the next sixteen years holds in store for Serenity as we continue to advance in order to meet the needs of our valued clients!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I would say my biggest challenge was the decision to triple the size of Serenity in 2014. This required a tripling of staff as well as responsibility. I was no longer able to personally provide services in the treatment rooms as I previously had. I was forced to reinvent my role in order to directly oversee the company’s growth.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
Quite simply – We pride ourselves on the customer service that we provide. We will never take for granted or lose sight of the importance of making someone feel special. Whether it’s a birthday cupcake or a hug – whether it’s your first visit or your 100th – we strive to exceed our clients’ expectations each and every time.
What were you like growing up?
I was always involved in all Things possible. Sports, drama, music etc. My work ethic Was noticed at the age of 12 when I started my first paper route. By 11th grade, I held two jobs.
