Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Pellumbi.
Ryan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I came from Albania to USA 15 years ago to this beautiful country and I worked in the food industry which I loved. I was very lucky to meet such great people and important, to work with them and mentoring me towards success.
I am very thankful to my mentors Ming Chieh Hwang and Jason Cohen for teaching me this beautiful art of sushi making which now it’s become one of my passion.
How this all happened?
Remembering working late night at the sushi bar and one of my favorite client Sandy asked me if I could teach her how to make sushi …I loved the idea and one day I went to her house and she had invited couple of friends over and we start sushi class, and that was real fun day everyone enjoy making and eating sushi…that’s how it stared ….after couple of months I started my sushi catering business called Offersushi.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been good experience and learning every day.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Offersushi story. Tell us more about the business.
