Today we’d like to introduce you to Bruce Rogovin.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design. Spent a number of years apprenticing local Boston Photographers. Found a Studio space in the Fort Point Channel, now known as the Seaport District. I do Art; photography, oil painting, wood working and play some guitar. I also shoot portraits in Boston on location and at my studio.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Bite my tongue, knock on wood – it has been a lovely ride.
Please tell us about Rogovin.com Photography.
I am very comfortable behind the camera, and with a few exceptions I make people comfortable in front of my camera. I try to get the most out of people, their best side, their most relaxed smile and positive body language.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I try not to look back, too busy trying to figure out the present.
