Meet Margot Cottier of Home Beauty Spa in Newton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Margot Cottier.

Margot built her expertise in PARIS (France) over 30 years in the skincare industry while working with well-known international brands, as well as owning and managing her spa in Paris. She has been sharing her experience with aestheticians and massage therapists all over the world by training them with professionalism and helping them operate to their full potential.

Since coming to the US she has continued to hone her aesthetic skills and opened Home Beauty Spa in September 2017.

Today she is thrilled to dedicate her time to her clients, able to assess all skin conditions and produce effective innovative treatments that meet the needs and demands of each of her client.

Has it been a smooth road?
There were many technical challenges and learning how to promote my business on social media – Google – Yelp – website – square etc!!

When I first came to the US, years ago I did not realize how many cultural differences there were. I knew the language would be a challenge, but the approach is also quite different. I am fortunate to be able to combine my skin care knowledge, techniques and new treatments from both countries, and take the best from each.

Home Beauty Spa is a boutique spa, specializing in an individual approach to skin care. Unlike some other spas, we take each individual and analyze their skin, make recommendations on how to improve and maintain good skin health, and follow up on their progress. We keep up to date with the latest techniques and constantly research new developments and procedures. We take our work very seriously. We also provide massages and eyelash extension and lifts.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Boston’s is a vibrant fast-growing city with leading medical, technical and academic prowess. Great restaurants, theater, music and historic sights. There are so many great things to say about Boston, I could go on forever!
However, I am hard pushed to find many negatives, but would have to say the winters!!
