Meet Lisa Campion of Lisa Campion in Medway

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Campion.

Lisa, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started working as a psychic when I was 19 years old and have been doing it pretty much since then. I was very psychic as a child, back when it wasn’t cool to be a psychic. So spent a lot of time learning how to turn it off and pretending that I was “normal.”

I also studied counseling and psychology and added that into my practice. About 20 years ago I learned Reiki and also do energy work in my sessions. My sessions are really a mash-up of psychic information, spiritual counseling, and energy work. It’s very effective at helping people move out of stuck places or get through transitions.

These days I teach a lot too. I teach Reiki and psychic development classes as well as teaching in the Rhys Thomas Institute of Energy Medicine. Rhys and I have been teaching together for about 12 years now. My passion is to train psychics, healers and empath to fully step into their gifts because I believe that the world needs all the healers that it can get.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Being a psychic is both thrilling and also totally weird. It was hard for me as a child in the 60’s and 70’s when being a psychic was not something you talked about. They put people who see and hear things into mental hospitals and while I escaped that fate, sadly many other psychics haven’t.

There were no psychics on TV, no New Age bookstores, nothing. There were three books in the library about psychic stuff and I read them all early on. (Jane Roberts and Edgar Cayce, bless them….) I really was like one of those “I see dead people” kids. My mom’s friend’s house was super haunted and I never wanted to go there and couldn’t explain why. (It’s the dead little girl on the staircase… Yikes..)

When I was in 4th grade I told everyone that I could see auras (I could and still can!) and then no one talked to me until about 8th grade. Thankfully it’s a lot more hip to be psychic these days. Still lots of people don’t like it, don’t believe in it and are skeptical. I appreciate skeptics. I don’t think I would believe in it accept that it’s actually things that I have experienced myself.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Lisa Campion story. Tell us more about the business.
I love my private practice. As a psychic, my specialty is in seeing people at the soul level. This is core essence of us, those qualities that never change. I love to tell people about how I perceive this aspect of them and I like to focus on the positive. What is great about us? We all know what our problems are, but we often forget about what is wonderful, amazing and unique about who we are. I do a lot of past life work with my clients since I think it helps us understand who we are. And I love to work with people that are in transition. Think about how useful it would be to have a little chat with your soul and get some higher level insight. This also helps us understand what our life’s purpose is. It drives people crazy to not know what their life purpose is.

Of course, we talk about all aspects of life, relationships, family, money, career, and health. All the things we worry about.

I do love to teach and have a lot of courses on my website about psychic development and how to manage if you are sensitive and empathic. Teaching in the Rhys Thomas Institute of Energy Medicine is also one of my favorite things to do. I also have a radio show that I am very proud of on Empower Radio called The Miracle of Healing. And I am the author of an upcoming book called “The Art of Psychic Reiki.” (New Harbinger Press 2018)

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I think I am a lucky person. Things generally tend to work out in my favor. Maybe it’s good karma. Also I work very hard too. Luck and hustle can take you far. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and love to work on my business.
