Today we’d like to introduce you to Heidi Price.
Heidi, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design, where, as I always say, I learned how to ‘see.’ I translated my visual knowledge into creating fine printed materials for support-driven organizations whose goals are to help families, patients, and those with stories to tell. Over the years, my offerings have extended into the creation of meaningful and memorable events for clients with strong messages to share. My love of caring for people matched with designing objects and environments that feel personal and welcoming are the perfect professional combination for me.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Every project, client experience or commitment to produce a product, event or experience must be handled with accuracy, enthusiasm and expertise. Each client and each project requires your best effort and result. I have always concentrated on providing each client with my complete enthusiasm and attention as I am more grateful than ever for the work I am asked to produce.
Designers and event planners by definition must present their talents and experience as well as prepare proposals for client comparison. While you may feel you are the best option for a successful result, it’s always important to accept that the intersection of pricing, experience and chemistry with the stakeholders are the foundation of the right selection.
We’d love to hear more about your business.

What were you like growing up?
I grew up with my three brothers and parents in suburban New Jersey. I was raised just like my brothers – a tomboy until college. We shared clothes, played basketball and lacrosse in the backyard, and watched football.
I always loved to draw and spent most of my time stealing my father’s ‘from the desk of Robert Price’ monarch letterhead in order to draw the perfect platform shoe and plaid mini skirt.
