Meet Anne Ferrari-Greenberg of CPR Services in Ashland

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anne Ferrari-Greenberg.

Anne, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was a staff nurse for Newton Wellesley hospital for twenty years. I also taught CPR and FIRST AID to the medical staff and community. While teaching a class, a woman came up to me and stated that her husband wanted to come but they had babysitting issues. She also stated it was too bad People didn’t go to clients homes to teach CPR. Bingo! I went home and spoke to my husband and said I’m going to create a CPR company that will teach in homes, businesses, restaurants etc. 35 years later here I am! I have a staff, a new office and the most loyal clients (more than 5000). I’m very fortunate! We travel all over MA. I’ve taught Michael Kennedys’ wife, Vicki Gifford and friends! Michael was watching his kids so could not attend that night. Haha.

I’ve sold 4 CPR franchises in the US for whom I mentor. I have 6 kids, 11 grand babies, 2 beautiful great grans and a horse named Mark! I have an extremely supportive husband who still likes me a lot after almost 30 years!
Thank you

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have learned how to be a business “woman” over time. You learn through mistakes and try not to repeat them. My husband is very entrepreneurial and with his guidance and support, I have learned the steps to function successfully.

The instructors that work with me continue to be loyal and play a “huge” role in our success! I could not do as well without them.

The financial part of creating a business had been a struggle. I’ve learned how to manage finances more efficiently now. I am extremely busy and appreciates that my clients continue to use my services.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about CPR Services – what should we know?
I can teach and I am nice. My parents taught me to be a good person and be kind to others. I’m funny too and saying all that is how I continue to have my loyal clients.

I instruct CPR and First Aid in a relaxed environment so that my clients truly learn the skills and not feel intimidated.

Teaching clients how to achieve a healthier lifestyle is also very important to me.
Instructing clients how to save a life is one of the things I truly am passionate about.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Kindness, caring and passion for what I do.
