Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Voegtlin.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Paul. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We started while working with wood construction, when a customer asked if we could repair his wooden wall pool. We did, so then he asks if we could install his liner and we did. We looked into the pool industry and started with a Canadian company. We bought into the company and installed the first pool at Paul Sr.’s house. We got the word out and continue with high quality work. From there we grew into a reputable and well known company. With continued hard work, the company is now owned by myself, Paul Jr. along with the next generation Tayler Voegtlin, Vice President. Three generations of working hard for our customers to meet or beat their expectations is what Paul Voegtlin Pools is all about.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It is hard at times where we are in a luxury business. When the economy is in a downturn it can get slightly slower but our customer base always keeps us busy with the basics.
Paul Voegtlin Jr. Pools – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We install liners, repairs, new pools, re-ferbs, filtration systems, salt systems, opening closing and winter covers. We are known for listening to our customers and giving them the high quality work they expect. We enjoy meeting and mostly likely beating their expectations. We are proud of our three generations of a family owned business.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
We define success by the repeat customers and by how the new ones find us by the word of our repeat customer. We define success by being in business since 1979 and still going strong.
