Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexander Ladd.
Alexander, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
A number of the management team were employees at the company that was the first to offer managed services in the Hyperion Software space. Hyperion is an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software that enables business to more efficiently consolidate, plan, analyze and report their financial results. That company was sold in August of 2008 which was a terrible business climate. As a result of that company being acquired a few of us struck out in 2009 to form MindStream Analytics. Since then, MindStream Analytics has grown to be one of the premier managed services companies in the EPM space having been recognized in the MSP Mentor’s 501 list of top managed services firms three times. We have since partnered with other software vendors and now offer many services around Business Intelligence, EPM and other data analytics.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The growth of MindStream has definitely not been a smooth road, there have been many challenges around finding qualified people and retaining them to challenges with getting our message out about what a customer should expect from a Managed Services firm. Starting a company takes an enormous amount of effort and energy and that in of itself is a challenge.
MindStream Analytics – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are known for our expertise in the Hyperion software field as well as our excellence in the managed services arena. What sets us apart is our customer service and knowledge of the software and the business practices that they enable.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
