Today we’d like to introduce you to Shaun Atwood and Eric Tucker.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Shaun and Eric. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My brother-in-law and I got together about 3 years ago, both of us were unhappy where we were working. Realizing both of us have excellent skill sets, we decided to work together and learn from each other to build our own business. It’s been tough but we’ve had a lot of support from friends and family. To any inspiring entrepreneurs I say the sky’s the limit, don’t be afraid to push yourself you’d be surprised what the outcome could be.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I guess the biggest challenge has been being confident in ourselves which helps being partners we can learn from and help each other.
There have been other small challenges along the way but sometimes challenges can add to the satisfaction in the end.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about T&A Handymen – what should we know?
We strive to be proficient in all facets of home improvement and handyman needs.
Recently we’ve been trying to focus more on kitchen remodels and bathroom remodels as well as painting, sheetrocking, and building decks.
Since I am a certified Arborist, we also dabble a little in tree work and landscaping.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My sister, also my partner’s wife has been a major part of our company for the last three years. She’s kind of been our behind-the-scenes bookkeeper / secretary. I’d send a big thanks to her.

Although I do not live in the area, one thing I do know , the integrity and total honesty of these young men is above and beyond! I cannot imagine that their work ethic would be any different!
