Today we’d like to introduce you to Ruben Vazquez and Trish Peterson.
Ruben started working by himself in this industry about 7 years ago with just a snow blower and a push lawn mower. He relied solely on door to door visits and word of mouth. With a lot persistence, determination, hard work and help from his partner he has grown this business to what it is today.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some parts were easier than others. Landscaping and snow removal equipment is expensive so it took us awhile to get the good quality equipment we needed. Also, to build a strong customer base. I think that is hard for any company in today’s economy. There is a lot of competition, a lot of great companies big and small in this area so we are always competing to have the best prices and a wide variety of quality services.
RVM Landscaping & Snow Removal – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
RVM’s is in the landscaping and snow removal industry of residential and commercial properties. We handle all kinds of landscaping maintenance like lawn mowing, spring and fall clean ups, fertilizing programs, new lawn seeding, bush trimming, small-medium sized tree cutting, landscape design, and pressure washing. During the winter months, we do snow plowing of driveways and parking lots, snow blowing & shoveling, roof shoveling, and sanding. We like to think our low pricing sets us apart from the rest of the companies in this area. Since we are a small company we are able to keep our prices low and still provide quality services.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Our proudest moments will always be when a customer tells us how happy they are with our services no matter how big or small the job may be. We always love to hear that the customer is satisfied.
