Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamie Lorenzo.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started as a young boy around 30+ years ago. Was run by my grandfather, James Ackerman, who had taught me the business.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been a fairly smooth road, aside from the normal everyday matter that are involved with running a business
We’d love to hear more about your business.
We are a family owned and operated business. We handle all aspects of cemetery work, monuments, lettering, cleanings, markers. Our pride comes from keeping the ethics of my grandfather, treat people the way you would like to be treated. Give them a good product at a fair price. What sets us apart from most of our competitors is 95% of our work is done in-house, as well as our competitive pricing.
What were you like growing up?
I suppose I was the average upbringing, the outdoors and fishing was and still is my passion, motorcycles, and boating.
