Today we’d like to introduce you to Richard Battista.
Richard, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started in the food industry at a young age. I have done two startups, one a restaurant company consisting is 10 units and another startup which was a culinary training facility. I am a trained chef, a graduate of Burdett College and currently a graduate student at Northeastern University. I am a highly decorated combat war veteran and the recipient of the third highest military decoration “the bronze star medal among many others. I am the father of four children.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has certainly not been a smooth road. A career as an entrepreneur is always challenging particularly raising the money to get started.
Please tell us about My Life Coaching.
I have been a professional in the food industry for 30 years. Today I am a certified professional life coach working with returning war veterans. I am considered one of the only 100 members of the honorable order of the golden toque. I have received the highest honor someone can receive in the food industry.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Playing sports.
