Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Morey.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Jason. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
From my early days a child drawing and creating things was a passion that I’ve always enjoyed, I began working in the landscape industry summers in high school, in the 90’s I started working for myself, I developed my skills in landscape design, attending classes at Endicott College, Having years of hands on experience, I focused my skills in stone masonry and hardscaping, with emphasis on creating space where there wasn’t any, I like the daily challenge that this industry brings, every day is different, every project is different in most aspects and by the end of them all we have changed the landscape forever, leaving our mark, our creation for years to come. I strive to bring our clients closer to the outdoors by building spaces that allow year round use. Recently fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, pergolas and outdoor kitchens have changed the residential environment. We are excited about the future of the landscape industry, as technology improves we’ve seen outdoor television and movie projectors come into the mix, with lighting and surround sound systems, all this brings people together and I take pride in being part of it…
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There’s nothing smooth in the landscape industry, more like roller coaster, I have a little mantra; ” Its either to high- to low, to hard -to soft, to wet- to dry, to wide -to narrow, to thick- to thin, to early- to late, you get the idea now?

Brookwood is a full service Landscape and Masonry company, we specialize in stone walls, stairs and terraces, paver and stone walkways, stone/ paver patio installations, landscape architecture/ design, we install plantings and maintain estates and commercial properties.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I’d have to start with my spouse of over 25years, on a personal level she has supported my every move, in recent years it’s probably my son Christopher, who joined the company full time about 5years ago, he make things look so easy at time, he really understands the complexities of his work, he is wise beyond his years, it’s been a true gift to work with him..
