Today we’d like to introduce you to David Elias.
Frank Hurley and Dave were born and raised in Lowell Massachusetts and attended private and public schools respectively. In the late 70’s, the two formed a business partnership and dabbled in Christmas tree stands and the sale and installation of commercial sound products, to subsidize their full time jobs with Bendix and Xerox respectively. In 1983, they formalized there business partnership and after recruiting three other professionals , they formed a corporation that provided, Electronic Publishing services and Facilities Management of the same. After growing to the largest company of its sort in Massachusetts, Pitney Bowes purchased the company in 1994 which is still operating today. From that day forward, the two has developed several businesses and properties in Massachusetts and Florida. In the last several years, the love of Motorcycling and the commitment to Motorcycle Safety has driven Dave to volunteer to be the Business Manager of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association for the past 12 years. Dave is a certified MSF (Motorcycle Rider Foundation) Rider Coach and has been working with Joe Proia and Ironstone Ventures, LTD for the past 6 years. After selling the Remains of a landmark property and business in Lowell, they have been working with Joe from Ironstone Ventures to take over and operate the business to further their passion of Motorcycling. In February of 2014, Dave and Frank purchased the business and have been providing Safety and education services ever since. Unfortunately, Frank lost his battle with Cancer and left us in January of 2016. A former employee, Jody Palmer, jumped right in to keep the wheels rolling. Dave and Jody are moving the business forward and expanding as they go.
Has it been a smooth road overall?
Smooth until the Death of a major player, but as always, we recovered and are better than ever.
