Elena, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Two major forces got me started in real estate since 2007: my entrepreneurial spirit and my eagerness to always learn new things. Ever since, I continue helping my clients achieve their real estate goals. My passion for real estate starts with learning about the exponential benefits that investing in real estate brings. I believe that Real Estate is a powerful wealth building tool; therefore, I want to inspire and empower others to do the same. My goal has always been in delivering excellence in whatever I do. I am an avid negotiator with a keen eye for details, strong business ethics, and relationship building.
I founded my company, UNION Real Estate, to be the platform where individuals get inspired and empowered to create wealth through real estate with the right connections and exceptional experience.
I am multicultural: born and raised in Venezuela with Chinese descendant and been immersed in the American culture since 1999. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Cantonese.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing, and Finance & Insurance in 2006. I received in 2013 Summa Cum Laude from Boston University in Paralegal Studies.
Prior opening UNION Real Estate, I have worked for other small and large real estate brokerage firms. I serve as Board of Directors and Membership Chair of Asian Real Estate Association (AREAA) – Boston Chapter, Board of Directors at the Wayland Children and Parents Association (WCPA), member of National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), member of Boston Business Women (BBW), member of National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), member of Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR), member of Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® (GBAR), and member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB).
Has it been a smooth road?
Life is an adventure…there are successes and challenges along the way. I do not personally see struggles, instead, I see opportunities. Every day brings new opportunities to learn and grow personally and professionally.

I chose the name of “UNION” for its profound meaning of “to join, to connect” and for its equal spelling and meaning in both English and Spanish.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
