Meet Jessica Capozzi of Jessica Bridal in Northshore

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Capozzi.

Jessica Capozzi, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
At a very young age my passion for creative hair design begun. I worked numerous weddings while attending college and interned at a hair salon during my last semester. While attending college I earned a bachelors degree in business management in hopes to prepare me to own my own business some day. After three years of dedication, hard work, and education Jessica Bridal was established.

I do currently work at a salon during the week where I have been fortunate to have great teachers, guidence, and support. I have a love for color, speciality colors, or color corrections, but formal style is what I’m most passionate about. For me, up dos or formal hair just comes natural. People always ask me, how did you learn how to do that? I honestly cannot say I have an answer. For me, an up do or formal look is truly a piece of art and your always given a blank canvas to work with. Most people would assume that working a wedding having atleast eight bridesmaids and the bride is nothing but stress but for me, it is when I’m most relaxed and confident with my work. There is just something in the air when prepping for a wedding!

After being in business for three years Jessica Bridal truly has exceeded any expectation I had. I am so grateful and blessed for all of my clients who put their trust in me.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It can always be a bit scary branching off on your own, but It was a risk I was willing to take. In this business the style is constantly changing so it is important to stay up to date and current. I am always learning new trends and styles.

I am thankful for the friends and family who have been with me since day one. Having a great support system has made my ride so far pretty smooth!

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Jessica Bridal is a freelance wedding and/or special occasion business. I am most known for my up dos and formal work. I can do any type of style such as, up dos, straight, curly, braids, blowouts, and more. I am most proud of how far I’ve come. I knew this was something I always wanted to do and am so glad I took the leap of faith to do so. It has been so worth it!

What sets me apart from others is my passion. I am always proud of my work and love sharing my gift with others. Being able to be apart of someone’s wedding day is truly an honor. If someone chooses Jessica bridal to be apart of it I can assure you, you won’t be let down!

What were you like growing up?
Something I also have had a passion for since a very young age was sports, especially soccer. Being able to play in both high school and college was one of the most greatest experiences in my life. It taught me many valuable life lessons. I believe that is where I got my persistency and never give up attitude.

I grew up with two older sisters where for a while I was the “annoying little sister”. Now, being closer in age I am so grateful for them and our friendships. My parents were always my number 1 fan and I will always be so thankful for their love and support in everything I did and continue to do.
