Please kick things off for us with some background on your story.
“High End Fashion” is mother-daughter run business. Originally established on March 1987 after Fatima(mother-CoFounder) graduated on Europe equivalent “Fashion Institue of Technology” and it was re-established on May 2018 when Arjola (daughter, CoFounder) joined the team. For over 30 years Fatima worked with a high-end clientele fulfilling custom orders and offering expert tailoring and alterations services. We decided to reestablish in order to bring a glimpse of European style and fashion in the USA. As part of the #fashionrevolution movement, every product is proudly handmade in the USA. Our team is growing now as we opened a local store to offer all the services, an Etsy store and also are ready to launch our clothing brand named Avenir23.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As a bespoke Custom Clothier for women, the path is not always easy and bright. Being different, and offering a service, that is known by very few, or almost unknown from the public, can be risky at times.
As the only establishment in the NorthShore area offering custom clothes for women, it’s our duty to work very hard with our customers and the general public on making the process super easy and understandable. We offer free fashion consultations and always explain every detail of our process. Our goal is to make custom-made clothing desirable and pleasant experience for women, to make them look and feel confident and stylish!

Our team of 35+ years experienced seamstress is specialized in sewing, cutting, pattern making, and design. High End Fashion designs and puts together clothes for every type of woman: personality, style, body size and shape and for every occasion.
We make custom :
-Everyday wear: blouses, dresses, skirts, pants, etc.
-Formal wear: shirts, suits, pants.
-Outwear: jackets, blazers, winter coats, trench coats, ponchos, etc.
-Faux Fur: Overcoats, vests.
-Occasions: Prom dresses, Wedding guest dresses, Black Tie event dresses, etc.
-Home needs: pillows, cushions, sleep covers, curtains, drapery, shower curtains, etc.
We offer expert tailoring and alterations for Men and Women:
Heming, resizing, relining, restyling, mending, recutting, restoring,tappering services, zipper replacement, and repair, suit alterations, home decor alterations, jeans/denim alterations, outwear alterations, patching services,
Prom and wedding dress alterations.
