Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Elliott.

Danielle, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a young girl, I watched makeup tutorials night after night. I was so intrigued by all the creative looks these talented artists created. I knew this is what I wanted to be one day.

Years later, when I was old enough to make a decision I chose to pursue my dreams. I’ve been a professional makeup artist for three years now. I also started my YouTube journey about a year ago! I’ve thought about starting a channel for so long and so many people requested that I make one so they could learn some tips and tricks.

When I received a Sony camera for my birthday I knew this was my chance to start doing what I love! It was the best decision I have ever made! After starting my small journey on YouTube, my channel hasn’t stopped growing since!

Companies such as WetnWild Beauty, Covergirl, and more have reached out to me to create looks using their products. I mean how cool is that! I would have never thought in a million years that a girl from Boston was contacted by companies I’ve looked up to for so many years.

Creating tutorials and sharing my beauty knowledge with the world is truly what I was meant to do. I hope to continue to learn and grow every day because I don’t want this journey to ever end!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I always knew I had a dream of being a known makeup artist in the beauty industry. It’s just not that simple. There are so many amazingly talented makeup artists to compete with. I’m just not where I want to be yet. I’m definitely proud of how many things I’ve accomplished so far, but I want something even bigger!

I’m only 21 years old, so I am confident my time will come. I will continue to work hard and patiently wait for my big break! “Good things come to those who wait” I will forever live by that quote and I will never give up!

Please tell us about Makeup By Danielle Elliott.
I am a professional makeup artist and I specialize in doing beautiful looks for weddings, proms, and any other special occasion. I also do face painting around Halloween time.

Although I enjoy making people feel pretty I have to say painting people’s faces is what I enjoy the most! I can really get creative and show off my skills!

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
The biggest lesson I have learned does not let the fear of others get in the way of doing what you love! After I stopped caring about what people were going to think of me, so many good things came my way! I do what I love for me, myself, and I. I’ve never been happier.
