Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Roberts Jones.
Nicole, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
From my early days in the entertainment industry in Talent Management and Casting, I have had those experiences plus coupled with my Master Degree in Social work with a concentration of Community Organizing, Planning & Administration and what I do now as the CEO of Fierce Factor Lab is draw out what’s best in YOU as I help my clients to take their Brilliance to The Bank.
I am the creator of the FIERCE Formula™ and work with entrepreneurs to create multiple streams of income from what they already know in order to build an empire from their expertise. Additionally, I work with corporations to assure their executives & middle managers align their purpose with their paycheck, push their internal edge, and step into the true power of their gifts & talents at work
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
In order to move forward in my life, I had to release my limiting belief of not feeling good enough. I had to let go of being so focused on what other people thought about me and what other people said about me. What they thought I should do and be and instead, really begin to define me for myself.
For years I was so focused on being liked and fitting in that I was playing small. This was first brought to my awareness back in 1993 as I shared with you earlier, while I was in one of the greatest seasons of my life, by everybody else’s definition. I spent years being OK with everyone else’s definition of who I should be and what I should do.
When I stopped to define ME for myself, it was at a time that I had built an incredible career in the entertainment industry, but at the same time saying to myself, “I don’t think this is really who I am. I don’t think this is my passion.” I had this whisper inside of me saying, “Nicole there is something bigger waiting for you” but I had no idea what that was! I remember feeling like I was standing at a fork in the road!
A fork that made me look at myself in the mirror and for the first time in my life ask myself, “what do you want!” At that moment, I was willing to become unrecognizable for my future. I was willing at that moment to no longer care what anyone else thought I should be or do and I began to listen to my heart.
I began to follow my gifts and allowed my passion to define my life. I felt alive!! It was in this place that I discovered my power and began to grow me. What I learned is it just felt so dog on good being me, the true, authentic, real me as I began to stand unapologetically in me.
Matter of fact, it felt so good that I wanted everyone else to feel the same way. It was in this space that I realized my life’s calling was to pour into people that found themselves at that same crossroad I had been in. Where they were looking for how to truly stand in their truth and own their power!

What were you like growing up?
I am from South Central LA. I have been in Boston for 12 years. Growing up I was the girl who got in trouble every day for talking too much. I LOVED to talk and now I get to talk for a living.
Additionally, growing up, I always dreamed of being a producer. I realize I have always been a natural producer —even when I was little, I have a picture of me at 3 years old rolling a baby carriage and while most three-year-olds when they have a baby carriage, they have a baby in that carriage, but not me.
There’s a picture of me at three years old pushing a baby carriage full of paper and books. Even when I was in elementary school I would play with the kids in my neighborhood, and always set the scene for the games we played.
I know that sounds crazy, but I was the one, let’s say if we were playing Batman, I would say, “Okay, listen, you’re Batman, and so and so you’re Robin, and then such and such, you are the robber, and I’ll be Wonder Woman. Here’s what happens. You rob the bank.” etc… I would go on and create the plot in my little school age head.
I was always thinking about who would play the best role, what was a good fit for everybody, and how we would all make this happen together, which is really what I do now. I have been doing that since I was born, effortlessly, but for years, I discounted it.
