Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony LeDoux.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My journey into photography actually started in law enforcement. I was a police officer who started doing crime scene photography. After doing crime scene photography, I realized that I liked doing photography more than I liked being a police officer. I decided to pursue a career change into photography. I accepted a position at the Rhode Island School of Design, and while working there, I put myself through photography school.
After graduating from RISD, I began photographing full time. Today, I specialize in wedding photography and videography. I work with my wife who is also a photographer and videographer. We shoot weddings locally throughout New England, and we also travel for elopements and destination weddings.
I absolutely love what I do, and can’t imagine doing anything else.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Along the way, there have been some challenges. There was definitely a learning curve going from a very structured job as a police officer to working completely for yourself.
There is so much behind the scenes duties that need to be done on a daily basis, that I never quite get any days off.

We specialize in Wedding photography and videography. We are a husband and wife team who tries really hard to get to know our clients. We care very much about our clients and try our best to provide them with the best service that they can have on their special day.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I could do anything differently, I would have made the transition into photography earlier on.
