Meet Lynne Greene of Lynne Greene Interiors in Northshore

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lynne Greene.

Lynne, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
30 Years ago, I started out as a nurse and I decided to take an interior design class at night as a hobby. After I took the class, I realized I loved it. I bought a Decorating Den Franchise and was full trained. I decided after a few years to go out on my own and started my business in the basement of my home, while working at Paine Furniture. I opened a store front in Burlington in 1995 with my son as my installer. I know have a brand new store front in Burlington at a new location with both my son and daughter working with me.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the struggles include the economical ups and downs through the years. Dealing with difficult clients. Dealing with fabricators and back ordered items etc.
