Thanks for sharing your story with us Tivan. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We started the company in 2012 after a friend of ours had his bike light stolen and was hit by a car while biking home. Soon after we launched a kickstarter campaign for a theft resistant bike light, and since then we’ve been creating tough urban bike gear that’s guaranteed against theft.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For a hardware business like ours, cash flow is always a concern. Over the years we have figured out how to balance investment capital, inventory capital, and production schedules to allow the business to grow at a good pace.
